The Need

Briggs Promotional Products is a small company based in Chicago, Illinois that specializes in promoting and selling customizable products to businesses and organizations in bulk featuring their brand or logo.  Briggs Promotional Products works as an authorized dealer of Kaeser and Blair, Inc. who actually produces the products and ships them.

Briggs Promotional Products came to us looking to be able to promote their products both through the web, as well as, with the ability to group products and produce printed materials themselves for face to face meetings with their clients.  They also needed help with branding including colors, logo, and other related graphical needs.

The Solution

Pacific Custom Webs met with the owner of Briggs Promotional Products to discuss several possible solutions and ideas to meet the needs of his company.  The plan and eventually solution that was designed and built by Pacific Custom Webs was a website that allowed the site administrator to manage all products through the website.  Briggs Promotional Products’ customers are able to search the site, add items to their shopping cart, and request pricing information through the website.  They also are able to track their orders once they are placed when logged in.  We designed a newsletter system where it would be easy to send out the latest deals to all of the previous customers of Briggs Promotional Products and continue to keep in contact with past customers.

To meet the need of being able to print their own marketing materials from the site, the administrators were given the ability to choose certain products that they wanted to feature.  Also they could print out formatted flyers for presentation to their customers.

In addition to the web system that we provided Briggs Promotional Products, we also worked with them on branding options and eventually developed several logo options that they could choose from.  This is now helping them further promote their brand through other channels.
